If you are drawn to religious imagery and architecture, you may visit the Big Buddha Shrine. The shrine is situated in Koh Samuis northern coast and is one of the prominent landmarks of Koh Samui. This 12 metre high Buddha in gold can be seen from miles away. Inside, you would find several different shrines and small sized figures of Buddha. Wat Plai Laem and Secret Buddha Garden are other places for the followers of Lord Buddha and of his profound teachings and principles.

Ang Thong Park is stretched out for approximately 100 sq km and comprises thick jungles, white sandy beaches, beautiful waterfalls, hidden coves and lakes. If you are bold and have the guts to see the snakes, you must visit the Snake Farm.
