A Cave at Sam Roi Yod

General
The area of Kui Buri runs down the coastline ca. 50 km, starting in the north at the national park Sam Roi Yod down to the city Prachuabkirikhan in the south. Most of these kilometers are sandy beaches, some of them in perfect conditions.

The National park is quite impressive with its granite rocks, caves and monkeys. There are secret bays, small lakes and lots of schrimp farms. Away from the beach, rice fields are very dominant in this area.

Kui Buri town
is a small fishing village with a basic infrastructure. A nice little railway station is existing with conecting trains to Bangkok and to the south. Kui Buri town is a great place for schrimps and fresh seafood, a supermarket for the daily needs is also on hand.

Region
Kui Buri gets a bit more rain than Hua Hin and therefore offers a more tropical and opulent vegetation. On the flat land areas, close to the beaches, you will mostly find small farms with rice fields and fruit trees. About 15 to 20 km from the beach, are the impressive mountains, overgrown by Kui Buri's vegetation, and the border to Burma is not far from there.

Infrastructure
The road access from Bangkok along the Phetkasem road is excellent (ca. 3 hours) and the drive from Hua Hin takes only 45 minutes. However, with the train from Bangkok the trip will take 5 hours. Small seafood restaurants and local shops are available. The next big Tesco supermarket is in Pranburi about 30 minutes away.

Projects / development
Kui Buri is the place where nice beach plots around 4 mio thb/rai are still available. Just a few developments are present, but they are already on the top quality level like the Hideaway and X2 resort.

Trend
Kui Buri is definitely a good place to invest. Not far from Bangkok and Hua Hin, with beach land at affordable prices. Supply is limited and demand is already strong, especially from professional Bangkok investors. Kui Buri will in the first instance develop as a high quality location for short term holiday makers from Bangkok.
